Buyer’s Guide: How to Bid in AV Globale's Online Auction


This guide provides a detailed, step-by-step process to support you in submitting bids on the Av Globale Auction platform.
Sign in and Sign up

1. If you are not yet registered, please complete the sign-up process by providing all required information - particularly the fields marked with an asterisk (*), which are mandatory.

2. After completing the registration, you will be automatically redirected to the login screen.



3. Once you log in using the credentials created during registration, you will be redirected to the OTP (One-Time Password) verification screen.

 

4. Open the email account you used during registration and check your inbox for the OTP (One-Time Password). If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder.



5. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon registration. Please be aware that your account activation is subject to approval by our admin team after they review the information you submitted.

6. If you already have an account, log in using the option located at the top right corner of the AV Globale website. Please wait for your account approval before participating in any auctions. Until approval is granted, you will see a message indicating “Account approval pending” when attempting to place a bid.

After your account is approved by the admin team, the following screen will be displayed.



7. Once registered, there is no need to complete the sign-up process again for subsequent auctions. Simply log in to access your User Dashboard, where you can select the AV Globale Auction you wish to participate in.



Bidding in an Online Auctions

During the active phase of the online auction and until the countdown ends, submitting bids is both simple and efficient.

8. After locating a lot, proceed to its detailed page to place your bid. You may enter your preferred bid amount in the designated field or select from the suggested bid options displayed above.



Click “Place Bid” to confirm your bid. The system will automatically place bids on your behalf up to the maximum amount you specified, in accordance with the auction rules.

Important: Bidding is restricted to registered users. If you are not registered, attempting to place a bid will redirect you to the signup page.

9. After submitting your bid - whether by entering an amount manually or selecting a suggested bid - you will receive a confirmation message.

10. After placing your bid, it will be prominently displayed at the top of the “Next Bid” section on the lot’s detail page.

You will receive an email shortly confirming your bid along with your current ‘Winning Status.’

If you change your mind, you may increase your maximum bid at any time before the lot closes. However, decreasing your maximum bid is not permitted in online-only auctions.

11. The AV Globale Auction platform will automatically place bids on your behalf up to your specified maximum bid, or until you win the lot.

If you are outbid, you will receive an email notification advising you of this and offering the option to increase your maximum bid. A message indicating your outbid status will also be displayed on the lot’s page.

12. All lots in the online auction will close at their designated end times. After a lot has closed, no additional bids can be submitted.


Refer to the countdown clock displayed for each lot to view its exact closing time.

13. In online-only auctions, if a bid is placed within the last three minutes before closing, the lot’s end time will automatically extend by three minutes to give other bidders an opportunity to respond.

This extension process will continue until no further bids are placed and the auction for the lot concludes.

What Happens When I Lose?

If you are outbid and do not win the lot, the page will confirm that your bid was unsuccessful. No further action is required on your part.

What Happens When I Win?

A confirmation message will appear on the lot page indicating that you have won the lot, along with the winning bid amount.

You will receive a detailed confirmation email within one hour of the auction’s conclusion, which will include instructions on the next steps to finalize your purchase with AV Globale Auction.

Sign up for Tele-Bid

You can also participate in AV Globale Auction by placing bids over the phone from anywhere in the world. To register for Tele-Bidding, please follow these steps:
14. If you already hold an account with (company name) Auction, we may request additional information to ensure we contact you regarding the correct lots and on the correct phone number.

15. To register for Tele-Bidding, please send your details via email to our Customer Services team at auction@avglobale.com.

16. Our Customer Services team will respond within 24 hours to assist you with the next steps in completing your registration.

If you are participating in AV Globale Auction bidding for the first time, submission of identification documents will be required for verification purposes.

Bidding by Call (Telebidding)


17. Ten minutes before the auction begins, a member of your designated Client Services team will call you to test the phone connection.

Note: Please be aware that all telebid calls are recorded for security and quality purposes.

18. To assist you in preparing for the online auction, a member of our team will contact you three to five days prior to the auction start date.

19. During the auction, we will maintain communication with you and place bids on your behalf until you either win the lot or instruct us to stop bidding.

FAQs on Online Auctions with AV Globale


1. Do I need to register before bidding?

Yes, registration and approval from the AV Globale Auction team are mandatory before you can participate in any online auctions.

2. Can I change my bid once placed?

You can increase your maximum bid until the lot closes, but you cannot decrease or cancel your bid in an online-only auction.

3. What happens if I get outbid?

You’ll receive an email notification that you’ve been outbid, giving you the chance to raise your maximum bid.

4. Can I participate without internet access?

Yes, you can participate via tele-bidding, where our Client Services Team will assist you in placing bids over a call.

5. How will I know if my account is approved for bidding?

Once our admin team verifies your registration details, you’ll receive an approval confirmation email. Until then, if you try to place a bid, you’ll see the message “Account approval pending” on the auction platform.
